Buddy Holly Day Wednesday in Los Angeles

What was planned as a long-awaited ceremony in Hollywood on Wednesday for Charles Hardin "Buddy" Holly has become a concert in Los Angeles and the celebration draws many of the most prestigious in the music industry star.

The Lubbock born Holly died at the age of 22, recorded with more than two dozen hits in the remaining two years before his death. He gets his well deserved star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on his 75th Birthday - but there are many more.
