Biography and Profile of Barbara Streisand

Biography
Barbara Joan Streisand was born in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York, 24 April 1942. He is a singer, actress, director, musician and producer America. He was awarded the Oscar for Best Actress and Best Song, and many times received an Emmy Award, Grammy Award, Golden Globe Award and Tony Award. 
Barbra originally a nightclub singer and a chance to also support theater performances with her boyfriend at that time (1960), Barry Dennen. That's when he began to abbreviate his first name to Barbra to make it more commercial. 
In 1962, Streisand appeared on Broadway, became a star in the musical I Can Get It for You Wholesale. And in the same year he also signed a recording contract with Columbia Records that first. The first album, The Barbra Streisand Album, which is then received two Grammy Award in 1963. 
His role as Fanny Brice in the musical Funny Girl (1964) by Jule Styne and Bob Merrill.
